XPAL'S TRI-STEPS TO SUCCESS Inspired by the goal-setting of Peter Lines, Director of XPAL Accounting to complete an ironman, Hawaii in particular, and the lessons he learned from setting a challenge and achieving it, XPAL uses the concept of the "Tri-steps to Success" to motivate and drive success in business. For many, participating in an ironman challenge is out of the realms of consideration but the notion of setting achievable goals and reaching them can be derived from Peter's experience in regards to individual and business success. Just as there are three stages to completing an ironman challenge, the team at XPAL consider that there are 3 steps to gaining financial fitness. Step 1 - Setting the starting blocks Create / Plan / Initiate
- Organising the paperwork
- Seeking a financial lifeline
- Setting up the starting blocks to financial success
- Reviewing the initial financial position
- Creating the plans and budgets
- Setting up the structures
Step 2 - Putting the wheels in motion Implement / Monitor / Review
- Travelling on the road to financial success
- Implementing and monitoring budgets and cash flows
- Implementing the financial plans
- Being in the right gear to manage the crests and troughs of day to day life
- Being supported throughout the journey
Step 3 - Heading towards the finish line... and beyond Strengthen / Protect / Reward
- Keeping the momentum going
- Setting up for the run to the finish line
- Strengthening the financial position
- Protecting the financial security as an individual and/or a business
- Being on the way to achieving an ideal lifestyle
- Enjoying the rewards of financial success
